Feministischer Lesekreis von Studierenden für Studierende
Der feministische Lesekreis von Studierenden für Studierende richtet sich an alle, die sich für das Thema Feminismus interessieren und sich mit Kommiliton*innen hierüber austauschen möchten. Der Lesekreis bietet eine Umgebung für feministische Diskussionen, ganz ohne Leistungsdruck oder Prüfungen. Alle zwei Wochen beschäftigen wir uns mit einem neuen feministischen Thema, z.B. mit dem intersektionalen Feminismus oder Frauen- und Weiblichkeitsdarstellungen in der Popkultur, und besprechen dazu passende Texte und Videos, die wir uns im Voraus ausgesucht haben. Momentan umfasst der Lesekreis 13 Teilnehmer*innen und wir freuen uns über jede weitere Person, die mit uns diskutieren möchte!

International Reading Circle in Feminist Studies
The International Reading Circle in Feminist Studies aims to promote interaction between different International academic communities through a democratic format and free from hierarchy. The main goal is to be aware of feminist debates in different socio-cultural contexts around the world. The Diversity Scouts Project (FAU) and the Association of Brazilian Geographers (AGB) from the Geography Institute in Goiania – Brazil (Federal University of Goiás), have initialized the cooperation in 2020. The reading circle is based on a book choice and the discussions are held in English language. We count with undergraduate, master and doctoral students as well as university professors, but most important – we are a diverse group of friends and supportive people. The reading circle offers different perspectives from many areas of studies and research and gives us the possibility to talk about conflicts that we as women and working class face daily. If you are considering being part of a community that values cultural diversity, then this group is perfect for you.
